One of the greatest lessons I ever learned from famous sports psychologist, Dr. Jack Llewellyn, was to never relax & let up! Our tendency in life in to take our foot off the pedal and slow down when the reality is the greatest thing we can do is to keep pushing. Great teams are coached by leaders who never allow them the thought they can take a play off let alone a week off. How many times have you seen teams lose games that they should not or a player make a great play and then make a tragic mistake the next play.
So what’s the lesson……while you are on the job or on the field – stay focused and never let up! Don’t relax….relax when the day is over – until then – be your best and play & work on your edge!
