  • Saturday was the annual Clothesline event at NStar – the largest clothing giveaway in Cobb County!  1500 (33 gallon black bags) 375 (white trash bags) full of clothes!!!  Over 375 families served and 396 volunteers helped to make it happen!!!  So proud of Michael & Melanie Mooney and their incredible teams who made it go!!!!
  • The “Taste of Kennesaw” was this past weekend – Michael Everhart, one of our NStar members, was the chairman of this event that brought over 23,000 people to the City Of Kennesaw!
  • Did the invocation to kick off “Fall Baseball” at Adams Park in Kennesaw!  So many great memories of fall baseball at Adams – Casey played there from age 7 to age 14!
  • Sunday at NStar was slammed!!!!  Tons of energy – tons of excitement!  We made the huge announcement of starting a new campus in 2011 in Dallas, GA!  We currently have 200 families that live in that zip and we are so excited to dive in to this area and “GIVE HOPE. BUILD FAITH. SPUR LOVE”!  To watch the entire message and hear the announcement – make sure and visit our site!
  • Brad Parkhurst, will be the Campus Pastor of NStar/Dallas, and he is working hard to get things ready & going!!!  We are so excited about Brad and his passion for this community, which he & his family live in, and are part of the schools & ball-teams there!  Brad is going to do an outstanding job!!
  • Lots ahead – can’t wait to see what God has in store!
